What to decide before enabling an active response
Image mode and lighting
Ambient light, white light, infrared behaviour and reflections affect the usable night image and the impact on neighbours.
Warning action
A light, siren or recorded message should have a clear trigger, schedule, volume and purpose rather than activating on every movement.
Human response
Decide who receives an alert, what image they can verify and what safe action follows; an automated warning is only one layer.

What must be confirmed before work is promised
- TiOC features differ by model and firmware; the product family name does not prove that every camera has every function.
- Active lights, sounds and analytics can support awareness or response but cannot guarantee crime prevention.
- Analytics require scene-specific tuning and may still produce missed or unwanted events.
- Recorded audio, views of neighbouring areas and automated warnings need careful privacy and nuisance consideration.

- What does TiOC mean?
- It is Dahua's three-in-one camera family combining selected imaging, analytics and active-deterrence features. The exact capabilities must be checked on the current model.
- Can the camera warn somebody before they reach the house?
- A compatible model may activate light, sound or a message after an enabled event. Placement and tuning determine when that happens, and it is not a guarantee that the person will stop.
- Will pets or trees trigger it?
- Good placement and supported analytics may reduce unwanted events, but no analytic is perfect. The real scene should be tested and adjusted.
- Can it work with an existing recorder?
- Possibly. Recorder model, channels, firmware, supported analytics and network capacity must be checked before compatibility is confirmed.
