Valet Hide-A-Hose · Melbourne new homes

Plan it before plaster.

NorthTech plans the retractable vacuum hose around the home—not the other way around. Hose length, inlet positions, dedicated pipe routes and the Valet power unit are considered together from your floor plan.

Designed for Melbourne new homes and major renovations. Final positions are confirmed against construction documents and site conditions.

NorthTech MelbourneDesign, installation and support

One local team can plan the layout, install the system and help with genuine parts.

Pull. Clean. Retract.

Hide-A-Hose keeps a long vacuum hose ready inside its own pipe run. You pull out only what you need, then use the system’s suction to store it again.

01

PULL

Take the length you need.

Open the inlet and draw the hose out to the room or cleaning zone.

02

CLEAN

Switch on at the handle.

Connect the Valet remote handle and choose the floor tool that suits the surface.

03

RETRACT

Let suction put it away.

Release the hose and the central vacuum draws it back into its dedicated pipe run.

The cleaning system disappears into the building.

The finished result is intentionally quiet: a discreet inlet, a long hose when it is needed and no bulky hose to coil and carry back to storage.

The hose stores out of sight

The retractable hose lives inside dedicated tubing in the wall, ceiling or floor structure instead of taking over a cupboard.

Long reach from fewer points

Valet offers 9, 12 and 15 metre hose options. The best length and inlet count depend on the completed floor plan.

Inlets planned for real rooms

NorthTech considers doors, joinery, permanent furniture and the route you will take through the finished home.

Central power, light handling

The power unit stays in a suitable service area while you move the hose and chosen cleaning head from room to room.

The visible parts are only half the design.

The hose, inlet and cleaning tools need the right storage tubing, pipework and power unit behind them. NorthTech checks the complete system instead of selecting parts in isolation.

NorthTech layout expertise

Coverage starts with your floor plan.

A circle around an inlet is only the beginning. NorthTech considers door swings, joinery, stairs, permanent furniture, structure and the other services competing for the same wall and ceiling space.

How does Valet Hide-A-Hose work?

Open the inlet, pull out the hose length you need and lock it in place. After cleaning, release the hose and the central vacuum system’s suction draws it back into its dedicated storage pipe.

Is Hide-A-Hose suitable for a new home?

A new build is an ideal time to plan the dedicated hose-storage route, inlet positions and power-unit location before walls and ceilings close. NorthTech coordinates the proposed layout from the current building plans.

How long can the retractable vacuum hose be?

The current Valet range includes 9, 12 and 15 metre Hide-A-Hose options. A longer hose may reduce the number of inlets, but it still needs a practical storage route and comfortable room-to-room reach.

How many Hide-A-Hose inlets will my home need?

There is no reliable one-size answer. The number depends on the size and shape of each level, hose length, stairs, furniture zones and available pipe routes. NorthTech marks proposed coverage on the floor plan before confirming it.

Can Hide-A-Hose be installed in an existing house?

It can be possible where suitable roof, underfloor or wall access exists, but a retrofit needs a site-specific assessment. The dedicated storage pipe and sweeping bends require more space than a standard central-vacuum inlet.
